Pronunciation
Lámòwèlh sounds like LAM-ah-WISH‘, except that instead of a SH at the end you say the Halq’emeylem ‘hissy-l‘ sound (lh). This is like a regular l, but with more friction and no vibration in the throat.
Note that the pitch is somewhat higher on the first syllable than on the two (this is what the accents on the vowels mark here).
