T’ókw’ means ‘to travel home’. Elders commonly add lam (‘go‘) or me (‘come‘), to make lam t’ókw’ for ‘go home’, or me t’ókw’ for ‘come home’.

Pronunciation

T’ókw’ sounds like TOCK, except that the t and the kw sounds are both ‘popped’, by combining each with a glottal stop (catch in the throat).
