P’óth’es sounds like PAH-ts-uss , except that the first p is ‘popped’ (by combining it with a catch in the throat or ‘glottal stop’). There is also a glottal stop after the th sound.
Note: some speakers pronounce th’ as ts+glottal, others pronounce it as t-th+glottal.
